Transfer your favorite plants inside so they survive the winter. You may want to save the most beautiful or expensive ones. Remember to be gentle when digging up your plants; carefully dig away from the roots and gently place the plant into a container.

In order for plants to grow, they must have enough CO2. The majority of plants grow much better when CO2 levels are at their highest. The best way to expose your plants to a high level of carbon dioxide is by growing them in a greenhouse. To maximize your plants’ growth, make sure to monitor these levels to ensure they’re adequate.

When gardening, beware of stink bugs and other insects, particularly in the autumn. Stink bugs like to eat beans, peppers, tomatoes, and all sorts of fruit. If not managed well, they can wreak havoc on your garden.

Use bulbs to ensure continuous flowers throughout the spring and summer. Bulbs are easy to grow and hearty, and they keep growing in years to come. Different bulbs bloom at various times, so choosing appropriately, you may have blooms early spring to later summer.

Plant some wheat grass or cat grass near where you car tends to nibble in your garden. In addition, you could put an item on the soil’s top around the plants which has a smell that cats hate, such as citrus peel or mothballs.

Make a landscaping plan before you dig your first hole. This helps you remember where each plant was planted before they begin to sprout. You might end up losing small plants in a large area, because you did not water them.

Get gardening knee pads if you have low-growing plants. You will end up spending a good deal of time on your knees and this can cause a lot of pain by the end of the day. A set of quality knee pads designed for gardening can be a world of relief for your central leg joints.

Boiling away unwanted weeds is an odd, but productive method used in many gardens. The safest herbicide that you can probably find is a cup of boiling water. To grow peas, try growing them indoors first, instead of outside. When you plant the seeds indoors, your seeds will start to germinate better. Seeds grown indoors are much more resistant to diseases and damage done by pests. Once they are strong enough, you can transplant them outside.

Stop wasting your money on inferior fruits and vegetables from the supermarket. You can grow your own vegetables and fruits in your organic garden.
