Long plants that run up or around a fence or wall are often useful for masking ugliness. Many climbers are so robust that they can cover an unattractive wall or fence in a single growing season. They also work to cover up old, and possibly dead, vegetation. Some varieties of these plants will have to be tethered to some sort of support, but other varieties will be able to attach to the medium they are climbing. Wisteria, jasmine, honeysuckle, clematis and some rose varieties are good choices for climbers.

Just pour out the water on the weeds being careful to avoid any nearby plants. The extreme heat of the water will cause damage to the weeds’ roots, which will stop them from growing any more.
